"The apartment is spacious and well-maintained with good layout. The chilly early June in Normandy was managed by an automatic heating setting that kept the temperature in the apartment comfortable. Two balconies on either side of the building allow for a nice view of either the marina or the beach. The D-day museum for Juno beach is practically next door, as are remnants of German bunkers. There are a number of restaurants a short walk away."

"The apartment is rented out by an agency. I have no problem with the specific agency. Everything was done correctly and as promised: linens and towels were provided (even exceeding expectations: one rents a towel, but receives three of different sizes), the deposit was promptly returned, and their staff responded quickly to messages. However, I found the agency model, in general, to be a letdown compared to a host, aside from simply lacking the personal touch. Paying extra for linens and towels is annoying and involves an additional transaction, but OK, I made my peace with it, as the apartment price was good. What may not enter your calculation ahead of time, however, is that you will be the one putting the linens on the bed and taking them off, as well as taking the trash and recycling out, as required by the agency. Finally, the linens provided seem to be one size, the covering sheet was of sleeve type (harder to set up - you have to insert the blanket into it), and one of them was smaller than the blanket provided. (To deal with this we simplified the process by not inserting the blankets.) The agency provides a small start-up kit which includes one roll of toilet paper and request for another gets the response "we do not provide the daily consumables." Which means you will have to buy at least four rolls of toilet paper, as that is the smallest package in a store, inconvenient for a traveler. You are in a similar situation for washing machine detergent. These are not big things, but they make some impact on your trip (and the main reason for reductions in my ratings), so, in the future I will probably be favoring apartments that are not managed by agencies. On parking: while the building has enumerated reserved parking spots, we were directed to park in an area next to the street, which managed to fill up at night. If the apartment has a numbered place, the guests should be allowed to use it."
